Supervisor - Paint Shop - Permanent

We require a Supervisor to oversee the work of the Wet Paint department at our Dorking site. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the department ensuring that all work carried out by your team of painters and shot blasters is completed in accordance with the requirements of the Company Safety Policy, handbook and safety documents relating to the substances and materials used in the process, such as MSDS.

Reporting to the Assembly Manager, you will promote the 'Right First Time' culture within your team and liaise closely with both production control and skid shop/main build supervisors to ensure that targets are met.

You will be required to assist in the preparation of work and paint application (approximately 50% of your time), undertake monthly stock takes, raise purchase orders for new tools and hold weekly meetings with your team.
